My little dancer

My favorite show of the summer is "So You Think You Can Dance" and I was watching it in front of Brody one day and whenever they would dance, so would he! He's got some moves!! Here are a couple of videos...

4th of July

We had a busy 4th this year. First we went to Kristy's for some good food and fun. Brody was so good in her un-childproofed home. He didn't break a thing! Then, we went to the celebration at UCO and Brody loved all the inflatables and loved the fireworks too. He stayed up until 11:30!!

Here's a few pictures of Brody. The one of him in daddy's boots is my favorite! He knows that the word "cheese" is associated with taking a picture. So, whenever I take his picture, he looks at me and says cheese. That has made for some great shots! Wonder how long that will last?!

Brody's second birthday party

We celebrated Brody's birthday a little early this year. He had lots of fun playing with his cousins and playing with his new toys. Can you believe he is (almost) 2 ?!?!?

Our first vacation

We took our first official family vacation last week. We kept it close and went to Branson, MO. We had tons of fun and Brody did really good... not a fan of sleeping in hotel rooms, but that's okay!



His favorite ride at Silver Dollar City (okay, we
only rode one ride, but he loved it!)


This was him being sad when the ride was over.
We waited for 20 minutes to ride it, so we didn't
let him ride it again. Aww, poor thing!


But then, he was happy again because he
got to ride this horse. He's easy to please!

This is a cool fountain they have in downtown
Branson. It shoots water and then fire and then
makes a rainbow. Wow!

More zoo fun

Oh, how I love the zoo! Elizabeth and Kaelyn joined us this time! Yay!

Kristy went with us to the arts festival this year and we had a blast! And the food was soooo yummy!
