Happy birthday Todd!

Todd's birthday was New Years Eve. We opened presents, had some yummy cake and then went out with Kristy and Todd. Luckily Todd's mom volunteered to Brodysit. Thanks again, by the way!

Brody has discovered climbing!!

He is climbing on anything he can. The first thing he ever climbed on was the fireplace bricks (which was in August). He was standing there with his arms up, as if saying "I'm so big!". Here's a few pictures and a video. You'll see that he's definately mastered climbing!

Christmas 2007

Todd's mom came to visit for Christmas this year. It was nice to have her here since we haven't celebrated Christmas with her in forever! Brody has way too many toys, so all Santa brought him was his own club chair and lots of books.

Dog Show

We went to watch our neice, Natasha, at her dog show. She has a Carin Terrier named Skittles who is so cute! They both did really good and won a blue ribbon and another ribbon too, I think. I also ran into my friend Tina who I had lost contact with and am so excited to get back in touch with! Yeah!

Thanksgiving

We had a fun Thanksgiving in Tulsa. Brody is such a homebody though. Right when we walked into Karen's house he started screaming and freaking out. It took him several hours to really feel comfortable there. I think what finally did it was his cousins singing his favorite song "If you're happy and you know it". I thought for sure I'd be up with him all night (he usually can't sleep anywhere but his own bed), but by some miracle, he slept all night! He also found a new friend which was my sisters giant panda bear. He would lay down on it and give it a hug, and he kept saying "bear" over and over. And Todd had fun playing foosball with his nephews... he is now the unofficial 2007 foosball champion! This Thanksgiving I really realized how thankful I am for so many things. I have a wonderful husband and a beautiful son... what more could I want?

Night, night!

We had a play date!

We went to Kristin's house a week or so ago and had a lot of fun! Shelby was asleep when we got there, but when she woke up and walked into the living room, Brody looked at her with awe. He was eyeing her hair (he has a hair fettish, you know!) and went up and touched her hair and then poked her on the back as if saying "what is this??". It was so adorable! And, of course, he had fun with his BFF Charlie too! I'd post pictures, but (eh,hem) somebody hasn't emailed them to me yet!!
