Halloween '07

Today was Brody's second Halloween (the 38th for me and Todd!) and he dressed up as a race car driver. He was, of course, SO CUTE!! You'll see.... I have pictures! Brody found the candy basket and I stumbled on him trying to eat a sucker. Since it's Halloween, I let him have his very first sucker. He thoroughly enjoyed it. Then, we went to the hospital to visit Grandmother (at work). She gave Brody a cute little spider basket filled with candy. I'm pretty sure that is the first time she has ever given him candy... (hee, hee!) Well, he was getting antsy and wanting to run around the germ infested emergency room. As most of you know, I am a bonafide germaphobe-- so to keep him still and therefore germ free, I gave him some candy corn . It is Halloween you know! ...And he loved it! Then we came home and had dinner, bath and in bed by seven as per the routine. Todd and I handed out candy to the neighborhood kids and finished off another fun Halloween.

even more zoo fun (if you can believe it!)

We have been having so much fun at the zoo lately! The weather has been absolutely beautiful, so we've been taking full advantage. Brody sees all the pumkins at the zoo and says "Paaaah" (that means pumpkin). And the only way I can get him off the swing is to say "let's go find some pumpkins!" Otherwise, we'd be swinging all day! Have I mentioned how cute he is?! Here are some zoo pics. We went with Aunt Kristy one day, but the only picture I got was of her and the witch. Oh yeah, and Brody's Uncle Charles and cousins Tyler and Madeline came up to go to the zoo, but when we got there, they were closing to get ready for haunt the zoo. So we got a picture outside the zoo by the bat. You will notice in some of the pictures that Brody is holding a giant stick (well, giant for him). He loves sticks and leaves. He carried the stick all day and even in the car! He is all boy!

Okay, I know you're sick of Brody and the swing... but I just think it's adorable! Here is a video of Brody watching the video of himself swinging. He smiles like he remembers how much fun it was and wants to watch it over and over. He's just so cute!!

More fun at the zoo

Brody and I picked the perfect day to go to the zoo; The crisp, cool air and nice, bright sun. Brody had the most fun on the playground today. He was in the swing for 40 minutes! I would get him down and he would run back over and want back in. Here's a couple of videos illustrating this.

Some of you might say... "you were at the zoo, where's the animals?"

Here's a video I took of Brody saying "umbrella". He can say it better than this, but he's teething and couldn't keep his fingers out of his mouth! He can say butterfly too... aren't they such big words?!

The Zoo

We have been taking advantage of our zoo pass lately. Here are some pics from our visits .

We went to the Orr Family Farm and had a great time! Brody loved the pumpkins and could have stayed in the pumpkin patch all day.
